In 1975, Michel Herr was during 5 months a member of the "Chris Hinze Combination", the fusion band of the Dutch flute player and composer Chris Hinze. The band mostly played in Holland, but also appeared at the Ronnie Scott's club in London, sharing the bill with Charles Tolliver.
