During the Jazz Middelheim festival 1974, the Palle Mikkelborg ensemble performed with Palle Mikkelborg (trumpet & composer), Philip Catherine (guitar), John Lee (electric bass) Gerry Brown (drums) and Michel Herr (Fender Rhodes). They played the repertoire recorded on Philip Catherine's album "September man". For the concerts, Philip asked Michel to replace pianist Jasper Van't Hof. And for the concerts that followed in Italy, Philip asked saxophonist Charlie Mariano to replace trumpet player Palle Mikkelborg (not shown here), and Michel was with them again...
