During a tribute evening, Michel Herr received the "Muse" of Sabam (the Belgian Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers) for the achievements of his musical career and his investment in the support of author's rights. In the presence of many major jazz figures from Belgium (Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine, Steve Houben, Charles Loos etc...), a quartet composed of pianist Ivan Paduart, trombonist Phil Abraham, bassist Philippe Aerts and drummer Mimi Verderame played a selection of Michel's compositions.
